Export MIDI when you want to continue arranging the notes in music software. MIDI carries note events rather than the instrument sound you hear in the browser.

MusicXML for notation

Export MusicXML when you want to continue editing the score in notation software. To share the visible score without editing it, use your browser’s Print / Save as PDF option.

WAV for listening

Export WAV to share rendered audio. Keep the Motiflo project JSON as well if you want to reopen your settings and work later.
